I forgot that country seven years ago, and my head lays soft on the mountain - heat wave dreams and a traveler's kiss.
I chance to visit those memories; like birds come home to a nest on fire.

so right now i'm practicing something i call personal/ gender indifference with people on a daily basis. basically i focus intently on not allowing my emotions and pride to influence the way i project myself to another person, no matter who they are or what type of influence they hold in my life. without putting so much effort into trying to control the way that people perceive me based upon who they are, i feel like i have a more balanced identity and am much more at peace with myself.

i went to a bar called boulders in downtown plymouth with mike stafford on tuesday night, and it was open mic night and we performed and it was awesome! i'm going to start going there every tuesday and trying to play an original song or cover with a lot of musicians. really great atmosphere if anyone wants to perform for fun or enjoy the place. good cheap draft too  :] mikes cool too so that helps.

i'm gradually becoming more in control of my dreams [and my waking life, ironically] as i focus on experiencing the world with a more complete awareness, especially toward the things i want to do and what is happening around me. dream awareness and control is fun. somebody should also do this so i can get pumped up super hardcore.

I've become terrible at recording my thoughts and life events over the last .. four years?
when i checked livejournal and realized that I had deleted my account from highschool,
it reinforced that I didn't want to forget myself and be ashamed of who I am! LIKE A ROMAN PILLAR BITCH! [phallic sympole lolwupz]
also, I have some inspiring people in my life so that's cool too.

SO. I might post lyrics i write or songs I record. I also might make this a public dream
journal because I'm horrible at maintaining my inspiration to keep my own.
